LONDON – Värde Partners, a leading global alternative investment firm specializing in credit and credit-related assets, today announced that an affiliate of Värde has closed a €250 million loan for a centrally located, fully leased office campus in Frankfurt, Germany.

“Värde is proud to support the financing of high-quality real estate assets across Europe, and we are energized by the pipeline of opportunities to work alongside experienced sponsors and owners of real estate assets as they explore alternative sources of financing,” said Vishal Kumar, Managing Director at Värde Partners. “This particular project reflects several compelling attributes that we value as a lending partner: a strategically located asset, a long-term lease with a strong tenant and exceptional institutional sponsorship.”

Earlier this year, Värde announced a €112 million loan to refinance The Wings, a newly developed office and hotel property in Brussels, Belgium. The firm also announced a €225 million loan to refinance Banco Santander’s investment in a portfolio of luxury hotels owned by a joint venture between Santander and Meliá Hotels International.

Värde has over 30 years of experience investing in real estate credit and assets with deep expertise across all major asset classes. Värde’s global real estate team is supported by in-house asset management professionals as well as a partnership with an industry-leading servicer and asset manager. As an originator of real estate credit solutions, Värde seeks to provide flexible capital and certainty of execution to borrowers.

Värde was advised by Linus Digital Finance AG.
