LONDON – Värde Partners, a leading global investment firm specializing in credit and credit-related assets, today announced that an affiliate of Värde has provided £35 million to refinance one of Amazon’s largest fulfillment centers in the UK. The loan was provided to clients of Knight Frank Investment Management (KFIM), who act as asset managers on behalf of the borrower, a Korean investor who has owned the property since 2020.
Located in Dunfermline, Scotland, the logistics center was purpose built for Amazon in 2011 and spans approximately one million square feet. The site, which is equipped with advanced robotics, handles the majority of UK returns and is one of the few facilities globally to handle specialist testing for electronics, making it a strategically important facility.
