Matteo Masi

Matteo Masi is a Managing Director on the European Corporate and Traded Credit team. Based in London, he joined the firm in 2019.  

Prior to joining Värde, Matteo worked as a director in the London office of Bayside Capital and HIG WhiteHorse (both part of HIG Capital), where he focused on corporate credit opportunities. 

Before HIG, Matteo was a senior associate in the investment banking division of Goldman Sachs where he worked on a wide range of M&A, equity and debt capital market transactions. 

Matteo holds an M.B.A. from the London Business School.
