Kathrin Sayk

Kathrin Sayk is a Director on the Asset-Based Finance team. Based in New York, she joined the firm in 2021.

Prior to joining Värde, Kathrin worked at Castlelake covering European financial services and real estate investing. Prior to that, she was a credit analyst at Fair Oaks Capital, where she traded European and U.S. CLO exposures. Kathrin started her career as a structurer within JPMorgan’s Securitized Products Group and also worked at JPMorgan’s Chief Investment Office focusing on investing in EMEA securitized products.

Kathrin holds a Master’s degree in Finance from the University of St. Andrews, as well as Bachelor’s degrees in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Bonn.
